Gasthof Biedendieck in Warendorf

This week we had two rooms in the Gasthof Biedendieck. The rooms were very spacious, the French. Beds were very comfortable. There was another door in the room, which provides even more peace. The bathroom is also large. Breakfast was served to us at the table. It was very generous, we had scrambled eggs and nice hot filter coffee every morning. With fresh peppers and cucumber. The cream dishes that were served weren't my thing, my colleague thought they were great. There was a failure of the central heating one evening, so no hot water and no heating in the room. The next morning we were informed about this and apologized for the inconvenience. We found the small compensation we both received to be particularly fair - thank you very much for that. I would also visit this hotel privately.

The breakfast was very fresh and very rich. Friendly service and very courteous, although it was actually still a holiday business, we were able to reserve a nice double room. I can only recommend it! Very well priced for the service offered. We were also able to park our motorbikes in the garage at no extra charge, great!

Very nice and uncomplicated reception. Large room, super clean, good facilities. For cycling tourists: garage for safe parking of bicycles, bike shop directly opposite. The breakfast is opulent, special requests were met immediately.

Stayed in the beer garden on a nice sunny day. We were greeted extremely friendly when we entered. Fast, super nice service. Regional cuisine with local products. Delicious?

We were there today and were allowed to eat there. Super super delicious, menu was not too overloaded, menus were sufficient. Even special requests were dealt with. Amount of food was just right. Staff nice and friendly. I really liked it so it is important to me to evaluate this.

We were there yesterday for the third time since the change of ownership. The premises are clean and nicely designed. Don't overload the menu card, but there is something for everyone. The food was always delicious and we didn't have to wait long for it. Staff very friendly and prompt.

We went to the restaurant Biedendick for dinner on Sunday 02/02/2020 with 10 people. Even though the restaurant was very busy, we didn't have to wait long. We had ordered 8 different dishes. Everyone was very impressed by the excellent food. Excellent menu. The cook understands his craft which you could also see when preparing the dishes. We already had a positive feeling at the friendly reception. Price performance TOP. I have read the last review and cannot understand it. We dined in the restaurant on recommendation. Absolute insider tip and recommendable. We will be back.

Unfortunately our Christmas dinner was 20.19. Not recommended. My mother had ordered a table for 11 people, since there are vegetarians in our family, after several calls we were assured that there was something for everyone. Unfortunately, that was not the case: the starter salad or soup, the main course was deer steak, goose leg or salmon on pasta, the dessert was creme brulee. The children's menu included pork cutlets with mashed potatoes. My wife and my big daughter ordered the pasta without salmon. And for my little daughter it was not possible to serve a small bowl of fries, the statement from the staff is only in the menu .. So my little daughter sat with us at the table for 3 hours without getting anything to eat. How I find an absolute insolence The children's menu for my brother's children was changed from mashed potatoes to chips. And then it came to the bill, and it was not only outrageous, but brazen. The two menus of my wife and my big daughter, i.e. salmon with spaghetti, whereby the salmon has been omitted, were fully charged at € 28.90. I have never experienced anything like this, I eat professionally in many restaurants and hotels but I have never experienced such a lack of flexibility and poor service !!! The food was not bad, but not a highlight either. Any amateur chef with a bit of talent would have got it the same way, probably better! So, I will definitely not recommend the restaurant and this was my first and last visit there.

We stayed for 1 night in the hotel. The new owners go out of their way and are very friendly. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast in the morning very delicious. We will be back!
